The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Concord. The Rev. Max Vanderburg and Rev. Earl Barringer will officiate. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. At other times they will meet at the residence. Born April 9, 1919 in Stanly County he was the son of the late Mamie Huneycutt Plummer and Allen E. Plummer. He worked with the City Of Concord as a meter repairman and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Lee Hartsell Plummer; a daughter, Cynthia and husband David Goodman Sr. of Concord; two brothers, Jason and wife Alice Plummer of Concord and Edsel and wife Sib Plummer of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Mearlyn and husband Ed Mullis of Concord; and two grandchildren, David and Michael Goodman. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, P.O.
